Granite Restoration

Granite restoration is a professional service that cleans, corrects, and refinishes granite surfaces. It can remove buildup, scratches, minor etches, and light wear while restoring color, clarity, and gloss.

Standard cleaning removes everyday soil from the surface. Restoration targets deeper problems such as embedded residues, dullness, light etching, and small chips, and may include honing, polishing, minor repair, and sealing.

We restore all interior and exterior granite surfaces—from kitchen and bath countertops, islands, bar tops, showers, floors, and fireplace surrounds to outdoor granite walls, BBQ countertops, patios, and pool deck areas—for homes and commercial properties throughout the St Louis area.

In many cases, dull, cloudy granite is covered with layers of wax, oils, or cleaner residue rather than worn stone. Many household granite cleaners contain waxes or oils that fill the stone’s natural pores, causing the surface to look dull, cloudy, or even develop dark, blotchy stains over time. MARBLELIFE® Granite Cleaner contains no waxes or oils, so it cleans without leaving buildup or residue. Our team removes these layers, then refinishes and seals the surface for a clear, consistent shine.

Many small chips, cracks, and uneven seams can be filled, leveled, and blended during the restoration process. If we find damage that requires a different solution, we will explain your options before work begins.

Our technicians use equipment and methods that are designed to control dust and protect surrounding areas. Work spaces are masked and cleaned at the end of the project, so your area is ready for use.

Project time depends on the size and condition of the surfaces. Many residential countertop projects can be completed in a single visit, while larger commercial or multi room projects may require additional time.

Yes. After cleaning, repair, and refinishing, we apply an appropriate sealer to help resist stains and make future cleaning easier. We can also recommend a maintenance schedule based on how the area is used.

Most granite surfaces do not need frequent full restoration. With proper daily care and periodic professional cleaning and sealing, many homes and businesses only require occasional restoration when surfaces become noticeably dull, stained, or damaged.

Use a granite cleaner recommended by MARBLELIFE—specifically MARBLELIFE Granite, Quartzite & Quartz Cleaner—to make caring for granite floors, countertops, and walls simple and worry-free. Its no-wax, no-oil formula preserves clarity, prevents buildup, and will not degrade stone sealers like many household cleaners do, allowing your granite to stay easier to maintain between professional services. Wipe spills promptly, avoid abrasive pads, and schedule periodic professional cleaning and sealing. Proper care helps your restored granite stay beautiful longer.  "Easier Care. Longer Shine."
